Since much of Manatee County Area Transit’s public transportation service is funded by federal grants, the federal government requires grantees, like Manatee County, to publish announcements of the federal grants that they plan to apply for and the amount of funds being requested in those federal grant applications. These grants are applied for annually and are ultimately included in the Manatee County budget. Due to some corrections made to this published announcement, there are two different documents published below—the original announcement and the revised announcement.
