Google Maps announced the integration of public transit payments into their app. Riders can purchase using the ‘GPay’ option, and use passes directly in Google Maps without needing to download another app. Token Transit is the only mobile ticketing solution that supports visual validation ticketing with Google at this time.

A few notes about the feature:
- This feature is available at no additional cost to the riders.
- This feature is available on Android Google Maps only to start; iPhone support will launch later this year.
- Riders do not need to download the Token Transit app. They can buy/use passes directly within the Google Maps App.
- Visual Verification support (passes purchased in Google Maps will need to be visually inspected by driver upon boarding)
