PUBLIC NOTICE - Improvements Beginning August 19, 2024:
Manatee County will be installing a well to provide improved irrigation to Ola Mae Sims Park.
This necessary work will close the basketball court and a portion of the walking trail for the week. Dog parks will remain open, but during the day, there will be loud noises from drilling.
Please consider Buffalo Creek Park for basketball and Blackstone Park for your dog that week. Anticipated completion is Friday, August 23. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your understanding as these improvements are made.

Only a 5 minute drive down the road from Buffalo Creek Park, away from heavy traffic, Ola Mae Sims is the perfect place for pups to get their socialization, exercise and relaxation time through both a large and small dog park with pavilion coverings, dog agility courses, water hoses and fountains.
