MANATEE COUNTY, FL (Nov. 19, 2020) – Manatee County is accepting applications for four positions on the Criminal Nuisance Abatement Board, which hears cases regarding criminal nuisances on places or premises located in unincorporated areas of the county.
Three board seats are for two-year terms that began Oct. 21, 2020 and one board seat is for the remainder of a two-year term which expires Jan. 25, 2022.
Applicants should be Manatee County residents who are interested in providing administrative oversight with authority to impose administrative fines and other non-criminal penalties in order to provide equitable, expeditious and effective method of enforcing ordinances in the unincorporated areas of Manatee County. Familiarity with the County’s Nuisance Abatement ordinance is preferable.
The board meets on the second Monday of each month on an as-needed basis at 10 a.m. in the Honorable Patricia M. Glass Chambers on the first floor of Manatee County Administration Building, 1112 Manatee Avenue West, Bradenton.
