MANATEE COUNTY, FL (Aug. 10, 2020) – Florida Division of Emergency Management is now offering antibody testing at the Lincoln Park walk-up COVID-19 test center in Palmetto.

Adults ages 18 and older with a valid ID can be tested at Lincoln Park, 501 17th Street East, daily from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., seven days a week. The site can perform up to 500 COVID-19 tests per day for active virus and another 200 patients can receive the antibody screening.

No appointment and no prescription are necessary. The tests are free to the public. Unlike the nasal swab COVID screening, antibody testing involves a blood draw. Tests are processed on site, and results are available within 15 minutes.

Information about the antibody test and what it means can be found online.

To date, more than 85,500 COVID-19 tests have been completed in Manatee County, just below 21 percent of the total population. For the past seven days, Manatee County's positive test rate was 5.7 percent. The week before, positive tests were at 6.6 percent.

The State also continues to test residents and visitors of Manatee County at the Bradenton Home Depot location and at a drive-through site located near the University Town Center Mall.
