“Envision Manatee” Seeks Citizen Input

MANATEE COUNTY, FL (August 13, 2024) – Manatee County is hosting another series of Public Information Meetings to discuss updates to the County’s Comprehensive Plan: “Envision Manatee.”

Work on developing the 2045 policy that sets the framework for future development within the County is continuing with this opportunity for outreach and stakeholder feedback. Information regarding the comprehensive plan, along with the opportunity for public input from citizens on how future development should proceed, will be included in these stakeholder meetings scheduled at public libraries throughout the county this month. Please note that information presented at the various meetings will be identical, so there is no need to attend more than one session.

The first Community Workshop meeting of this series will be held on Tuesday, August 27, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., at the Palmetto Library, 923 6th St. W. in Palmetto.

The second Community Workshop meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, August 28, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Braden River Library, 4915 53rd Ave. E. in Bradenton.

The third Community Workshop meeting is scheduled for Thursday, Aug 29, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Lakewood Ranch Library at 16410 Rangeland Pkwy. in Lakewood Ranch.
