MANATEE COUNTY, FL (April 19, 2024) – Manatee County is hosting a Public Information Meeting for the upcoming improvements to the wastewater collection system in Colony Cove’s South neighborhood on US 301, between Colony Cove South and Hillcrest Lane in Ellenton.
The meeting will be held on Thursday, April 25, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Colony Cove Harmony Hall, 7615 Lakeshore Drive, Ellenton, FL, 34222.
The meeting will provide the public with an update about the improvements to Colony Cove South. Guests will be invited to view design boards and plans. Project staff will also be on hand to answer questions and provide other project-related information. There will be no formal presentation, and guests may arrive any time between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.
The Phase 1 Replacements Project will update and replace the existing pipeline system in Colony Cove South’s neighborhood to connect customers to Manatee County’s wastewater system. The improvements will include the installation of a new lift station, sanitary sewer manholes, sewer mains and lateral pipelines to individual residences providing additional capacity and reducing excess demand on the existing gravity system, pumping stations and force main.
