Interested Manatee County residents (in particular, public housing residents), public and private agencies, businesses, and other interested parties are encouraged to attend a Public Hearing and Grant Application Workshop on March 3 to voice their concerns and express their opinions on the community's priority needs.

Manatee County is inviting citizens and agency comments on the draft Substantial Amendments to the 2018/19, 2019/20, 2020/21, 2022/23, 2023/24 & 2024/25 Annual Action Plans, in which a hearing is scheduled on January 28, 2025.

The Board of County Commissioners has approved projects for the 2024/25 Community Development Action Plan. Here is a list of those projects approved and denied.

Manatee County low- and very-low income homeowners can apply for financial help for housing rehabilitation and replacement assistance through April 22, 2024.
