MANATEE COUNTY, FL (January 9, 2024) – Following a fast-moving winter storm passing through Manatee County, the County will reopen for business as normal Wednesday, January 10, 2024, at 8 a.m. This includes the downtown Bradenton Administration building and all County facilities open to the public.

Manatee County Beach Patrol continues to assess conditions along the coast, and County crews will continue to conduct emergency response and assessments overnight as warranted. Some parks and preserves may remain temporarily closed Wednesday, based on damage surveys.

Manatee 3-1-1 operators will be back on duty at 8 a.m. and will be able to assist with any reporting of damage. Residents can also self report damage and upload images via the 311 app. The Neighborhood Connections team—along with Code Enforcement and Code Enhancement personnel—will be canvassing the county at first light to evaluate any further damages due to flood waters continuing to rise overnight.

Residents and visitors should monitor local news and the County's social media pages for updates.
